UbiCare created a new category in 2011: interactive, digital patient engagement. We integrated evidence-based content with unique attributes of technology – real-time, actionable analytics and 2-way patient-provider access.
Since then, as hospitals have established technology backbones, there has been a proliferation of technologies and companies with healthcare solutions. Most competitors began with a focus on one of our 3 distinct capacities – interactive education, analytics or an automated technology platform – yet described themselves as “patient education and engagement solutions,” as this was a component of their approach.
Overtime, they have morphed their solutions to include a combination of these capacities – a combination we have already had for 15 years.
At UbiCare, we maintain our unique differentiator of engaging patients earlier in the care episode through direct patient activation.
