Spine Surgery Series

 

This series helps you educate and activate patients undergoing spine surgery (as well as their support person). They will learn:

  • What to expect and how to prepare for surgery
  • How to prevent and recognize post-op complications
  • How to manage their pain and other concerns
  • What to expect of rehab and recovery so they have realistic expectations about short- and long-term outcomes
  • What they can do to get back to their sport as quickly and safely as possible

Series specifications:

Frequency - Flexible pre-op schedule; weekly, then monthly post-op

Duration - From pre-op (up to 2 mos. pre-op) - 6 mos. post-op
