SmarteXp®: Your patient engagement solution, a marriage of technology and content that enables hospitals to guide and track patients before, during and after their unique care episodes.

Banner: The image at the top of each email message, campaign or library article. The banner is comprised of the title of the message series, your logo and/or branding material.

Bodytext: Text sections for the content and images in email messages, campaigns or library articles.

Campaign: A separate targeted message you can create to complement regular storyboard messages. Popular campaigns include updates on seasonal flu, hospital events and documents a patient might need before a medical appointment.

Champion: Your hospital contact, whose image will appear on the top right side of each message with his/her name, credentials and an "Ask/Tell Me" button to facilitate secure one-to-one communication.

Data Dashboard: The front page of SmarteXp, where you can access analytics (on subscriber open and engagement rates, usage and survey responses) about your projects. You can also access all of your documents here (such as downloaded subscriber stats).

Email Subject Line: A short phrase indicating the topic of an individual email in a recipients' email inbox.

Email View: The portion of your patient education message that patients see first when opening an email. Specific words, phrases or sentences within the message link to additional web-based content or resources.

Embedded Survey: Questions included within the email messages (near the bottom) that encourage immediate subscriber feedback.

Expanded View: The full patient education message, including additional content not visible in the initial view upon opening the email.

Headline: The title of each Bodytext section.

Inbox: When a patient sends a secure message through the "Ask/Tell Me" button, a notice is sent to the client's contact email on file. The contact can access and respond securely to that message through the "Inbox", rather than through unsecure email.

Library Pages: Linked articles, FAQs and resources that can be accessed from individual storyboard email messages.

Monthly Report: Data showing the results of the Patient Feedback Questionnaire, your open and engagement rates and enrollment for the previous month, available at the beginning of each month in your Data Dashboard.

Patient Feedback Questionnaire: The survey your patients receive post-discharge to assess your patient engagement solution and its influence on their health outcomes and connection with your hospital.

Projects: Your storyboards, campaigns, surveys and library pages.

Storyboard: An automated, stage-specific email messaging series on a particular topic.

Subscribers: Individuals signed up to receive your storyboard emails and associated library articles, campaigns and surveys.

Survey: A feature that allows you to solicit feedback from subscribers. Popular surveys often are about patient satisfaction or concerns.

Users: Your colleagues who also have access to SmarteXp Admin Center.
